A little about me
I'm always drawing something.
Notebooks, sketchpads, the corners of my homework — if there's paper nearby, there's probably a doodle on it. I love characters and faces and animals best, and I love the moment a bunch of messy lines suddenly turns into a thing.
The part I love most is showing other kids how to do it. When someone says "I can't draw," what they usually mean is "nobody showed me how yet." That's the whole reason I started my show.

A drawing show for kids, made by a kid. Every episode picks one thing to draw, breaks it into simple shapes, and goes slow enough that you can follow along with whatever pencil and paper you've got.

Paper. Pencil. That's the whole supply list. Fancy art supplies are fun, but you don't need them to start.

Every drawing starts as circles, ovals, and lines. I show you each shape before we add the details.

Make it yours
Change the colors. Give it a hat. Draw it three more times. Yours isn't supposed to look exactly like mine.

Three things I wish someone told me sooner.
Messy first drafts are the point
Every drawing looks wrong in the middle. That's not a sign to stop — it's just the middle. Keep going.
Draw the same thing ten times
The tenth one will be so much better than the first, and you'll barely notice it happening.
Copy people you like
Every artist learned by copying somebody. Draw their style until you find the parts that feel like yours.
